Works Well and No Damage to Tank
After a discussion with my plumber and a lengthy internet search, I concluded that the in-tank cleansers/fresheners that I was using in my toilet to maintain the bowl was causing irreprable damage to the seals at the bottom of the bowl. I search the internet for a solution an discovered Flush 'N Sparkle by FluidMaster. I have been using them for five years and they are excellent. They attach very easily inside the tank of your toilet and inject the cleaning fluid directly into the bowl. I have not had any problem. When the cleaning cartridge is full, then the bowl remains almost spotless. If the bowl becomes soiled and the water with the cleanser resides for a minute, the next flush will clean the bowl.
The only problem is that you must flush the toilet at least once a day or the cleansing cartridge will coagulate and not dispense. However, this takes perhaps 1.5 months. Generally, it should not be a problem, but with two people living in a house with four...
BLUE does not work
The Blue (8102) does not work to keep bowl clean. But the Bleach (8302) works great.
disappointed
By mistake I ordered the BLUE refill instead of the Bleach refill. The Bleach product works great - the blue is blue but doesn't keep the toilet clean. I won't make the same mistake again.
