La Crosse Technology WS-9066U-IT Wireless Weather Station with Moon Phase

BEST ACCURATE INSTRUMENT FOR THE MONEY !!!
I went through the purchase of three Taylor instruments and sent them all back due to inaccuracies when tested.

I purchased two different LaCrosse Technology instruments and kept them both. This one is the more elaborate of the two I purchased and for all usage, the best for the money. This instrument displays both the temp and humidity indoor and outdoor simultaneously (the oldest outdoor reading is 5 seconds old). Time (very accurate) and date are nice to have available. Phases of the moon are accurate but just about worthless for my purposes.

HOW I TESTED ALL OF THE INSTRUMENTS I PURCHASED FOR ACCURACY. I set each unit on my dining room table with the remote within 3 inches of the base station. I allowed two hours for them to stabilize after handling--installing batteries--etc. I had five systems side by side for examination.

The LaCrosse devices read both temperatures and displayed both readings agreed within 0.2 of a degree F (you can flip them to...

Works flawlessly
We live in a two family house with one heating system and used this system to monitor the heat difference between the upstairs and downstairs. There was only a 0.4 degree difference (at most) between the monitor and the base when we compared them before sending the monitor upstairs. Works flawlessly. Highly recommended!

p.s. When the remote sensor battery dies, you have to take the batteries out of the home unit because it only recognizes the sensor when it powers up. After removing the batteries, you have to reset the date & time.

Wireless weather station
Like both the indoor and outdoor temps/humidity and the stand attached to the back. Thing I miss is the atomic clock setting for time. This model has a manual setting for the time. Timely shipment of product.
