NOT Dyson OEM Product - Doesn't fit DC07
There are a bunch of "aftermarket" Dyson hoses available for less than $20 but I wanted a genuine Dyson product so I paid a premium to order this product. Unfortunately, the seller is marketing a *Hoover* product as suitable for a Dyson DC07. Moving beyond the fact that that's blatantly deceptive advertising, the package doesn't even match the product! The packaging lists this hose as being compatible with the DC14...not the DC07 as advertised above.
But the real problem is how this specific item works with the DC07 - it is terrible. The fit is so tight that it's impossible to easily slide the wand and hose apart. It feels like it's just waiting to rip a hole.
Any way you slice it, this is a huge pass for anyone that needs a replacement hose for their Dyson DC07. If you're going to go with a third party replacement to save $$$, choose one of the other options. They're less than half the price of this item.
Fake replacement hose
BUYER BEWARE. This is not a real Dyson hose. I would have never have bought it had the original ad stated this was an OEM. I was charged $38, which is only a few dollars less than Dyson charges for the real hose. This cheap ripoff does not fit properly. There is now lock on the upper attachment and it is very tight putting the handle back in to the hose. If I wanted a garbage hose I would have bought the one that was $10. Worst Amazon purchase ever.
Poor replacement hose
