Pwr+ 2000mAh Extended Capacity Xbt800 Battery for Shark 2-in-1 Cordless Stick Vac and Handheld Vacuum Cleaner Vx63 Sv800 (Newer Version Only with Separate Charging Station)

Does not fit all versions of this vacuum...
I bought this vacuum last year and LOVE it. It is perftect for light vacuuming and keeping the pet hair from taking over. I was really bummed when the battery died so like many other I hit the internet for a replacement. I was very excited to find this one and ordered it right away. My excitment was short lived, however, when I discovered that this battery will not work in my SV800 shark model. This battery will only work if you have the shark that has a battery pack that has a separate charging unit. If you have the previous version of this vacuum where the charger plugs directly into the vacuum itself, this replacement battery WILL NOT work. Out of desparation I got on the phone and called shark directly. Although I could not find a replacement battery on their website, since this vacuum has been discontinued, the representative on the phone was very nice and helped me find the right replacement battery for my unit. The key is to tell them that the charger plugs directly...

Pretty good, decent price
This product worked as advertised.

The battery contacts in the vacuum didn't quite make as good a contact to this battery as to the factory one. However, the contact to the factory one wasn't all that great either. I had to bend the contacts in the vacuum a bit to make them work after the vacuum was about 6 months old. I had to bend them just a tiny bit more for this battery. I assume that the size is off by just a very tiny bit. (Essentially, the battery (old and new) is just a bit loose in the vacuum.) No big deal, now that I know what to do.

And this battery was quite a bit less expensive than the original.

Good replacement battery
Works better than the original SHARK battery, lasts longer on a charge. Had to bend contact pins out on VAC to make it work, but it works fine now.
